Shelly is always so kind and helpful.
She knows her products and has never steered me wrong with her advice on what products are best suited for my animals.

After seeing a sign for free men's cuts, we booked my husband and myself in for cuts. The girl who was training cutting my husbands hair took over two hours to finish - we were there for nearly three hours. I had my hair cut in the meantime, and that took over an hour. I was left with shampoo in my hair while a staff member went to purchase crochet hooks for a poor woman with a cap on her head. Then I was left for twenty minutes with wet hair and only a small towel while the woman cutting my hair moved between four different people cutting, and dying each a bit at a time. Then she tried to force me to buy products for my hair I repeatedly told her I was allergic to. I left with a cranky baby, a tired husband and a bad haircut that I paid over $25 for.

I bought a hot dog and drink deal and two iced donuts. The donuts were beautiful, but the hot dog my husband ordered was very disappointing. The bacon was rubbery and old, the cheese was rubbery and warm (like it was left out of the fridge) We took it back, and the young girl was very rude about it. After speaking to the manager, the hot dog was replaced, and it was a better than the first time.

Approximate cost: $around $7

I really enjoy rewards central. You don't have to do much to earn rewards, just read a few emails, and if you shop online, then this is the site for you. Earning rewards by spending money you would already spend; they make it too easy!

These guys have everything. A huge range from your usual pies and sausage rolls to fabulous cakes and salads / salad rolls. And they will make to order. My husband eats here every time he works anywhere near, and he sneaks down every Sunday for one of their jam and cream donuts.

We just moved into the area, and have been having bread from Carby's every day since. They make all their items on premises (as we have been informed by staff) and everything tastes fantastic. This week, we tried the date scones and they were so good. Their bread is light and fluffy, and stays fresh the next day too.

After moving recently, we needed to get gas connected. Having never lived in a house with gas before, we didn't know what we had to do. A friend referred us to Origin. So we called them, and the woman on the phone gave us so much information and did all the work for us! As well as giving us a discounted rate, she sent us all the info we needed.

There is a very large selection available, and we go here because it's the only place that still serves banana fritters! They do everything from chicken and chips, to burger meals to whole family dinners. They also now have a fresh range of baguettes with salad and beef / chicken etc and they are really good.

These guys always have a large fresh and frozen range. Usually, if they don't have what you are after fresh, they have it frozen. Their fresh range is always excellent, and very good quality. We especially enjoy the salmon and scallops. They also have bulk items including vegies and deep fry items, not just seafood. Staff are quite knowledgable. Thay know their products and have always been helpful.

Approximate cost: $15 a kg for scallops / $20 + for salmon

After taking on two foster children who already attended the centre, I didn't know what to expect. But the staff were unbelievably helpful. Showing us what to do, and putting in extra effort with the children to help them cope with the transition. Also all nappies and meals are provided by the centre, unlike other centres, so that was extremely helpful. Overall, they do an excellent job, and we found that the kids were very happy within the centre.

Approximate cost: $differs, depending on your child care benefit rebate.
