The Dockyard is consistent, friendly and has good food. My friend and I are regulars for lunch and the staff take extra time to explain specials and make sure we are comfortable. The menu and selection of wines and beers are great. And, once, just once, we complained about a meal - and they took us seriously, gave us vouchers and a sincere apology. What more could you ask for?

Anchors is my favourite when it comes to fresh fish. I always ask "what's fresh today?" and have about 6 to choose from. Having friends who are Coeliac, I also appreciate that the waitstaff always ask "any intollerance to Gluten?". They cater for kids and large groups, and they always treat you well.

Chantelle and Rose provide the most welcoming and wonderful service and they are fastidious about quality. They use the Jessica system for Gel Nail Polish and have recently returned from the US where they undertook more training. My nails look perfect and the polish lasts 3 weeks. They do waxing and facials as well, and I buy gift vouchers for friends, they are so good. Nails around $50.

I went to Choyez for removal of gel nail polish and reapplication. Clearly the girl was not trained as the removal was very rough and she filed my nails so hard two split and two are thin as cellophane. She pooled the polish on my cuticle and under my nail and then UV cured it to my finger - she tried to use clippers to separate the two. When I politely pointed out the mess to the Manager, I was met with indifference and no apology. My nails are a mess and I will NEVER go back. Rude and unprofessional.
