Finally found the BEST place for a MEN'S hair cut in Newcastle.
Got sick of going to a Women's Salon to get a modern cut where I would feel out of place and uncomfortable, Usually having to wait forever then ending up with a hair cut I was never happy with, a head full of product I never use and a extraordinary bill to top it off.
Andrew is the owner of Chrome and senior cutter there every day. There was no waiting A WEEK like Crysalis wanted me too do. It is a great place PERFECT for men not over the top like most places but still fresh and modern a even has modern barber chairs. The 21+ years of experience Andrew has is obvious and shows in his work and the salon.Chrome is what the men of Newcastle have needed for a long time.

Do not BOTHER going UNLESS your one of the BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE . These people could not even refit me for a appointment for over a week (PLEASE ) For a basic hair cut thats how keen they are to take care of their customers ! and if you don't fit their MODEL of a client they VERY QUICKLY let you know it. So unless your LOADED and a bit conceded dont bother going there look for somewhere more down to EARTH .
The most uncomfortable embarrassing experience EVER- GUYS FORGET IT !!!

This is by FAR the BEST Mechanic I have ever had in over 25 years of driving.
This place is so ready to help and you can see a difference every time you get your car back from them.
All the staff are ready to help and really nice.
The Owner and head Mechanic Mark is 1 in a million and I have never seen a Mechanic take so much pride in his business and work.
This is not a dirty old workshop but surprisingly clean and they do everything from gas conversions and sell LPG to aircon and EFI work even Rego checks while you wait. New cars old cars this guy can fix them all including my BMW which I dont take to expensive dealers any more but Caltex Elermore Vale.
They even give your car a wash & vacum after a service.
I can not speak highly enough about this place Mark even offered to fix another mechanics mistakes for free when we first met him and when he could not find the problem with my car the first time round and it took 3 days to fix it he did not want to charge me a single cent because it took him so long to fix -I did do the right thing and paid him.
Caltex Elermore Vale- just down the street from the Shaft Tavern and Elermore Vale shopping centre YOU WILL BE HAPPY YOU WENT !!
