This pancake parlour is now closed as they are renovating the top floor of Forest Hill Chase and the whole area is under construction. not sure if they are going to re-open there or not

ordered Gado Gado. It was the worst I have ever tasted. It was watery, very poorly flavoured. and the rice served with it was cold. Service was slow. Even got a feeling of being rushed to make room for more indian looking people

I stumbled across this place while taking a shortcut between Mitcham and Springvale Roads. I am now there on a very regular basis. This spotless cafe looks like it belongs in South Yarra / Toorak, instead of being in the middle of an industrial area on Rooks Road in Vermont/Mitcham/Nunawading!! This hidden secret is not just for the workers and business people. It is a great place to meet your friends for a cheap meal or coffee - speaking of which, they make fabulous coffee. A decent breakfast menu - especially the egg and bacon sandwiches - huge, fabulous and cheap. Can't get enough of those things.

They have several hot mains at lunchtimes, (not only the usual fried things) as well as the best focaccias and sandwiches in the area. The service is very friendly and they seem to know everyone - including me - by name. Obviously people keep going back.

Unfortunately this place is now no longer there. While it was there, it had a decent hot chocolate - the only problem I had was that I felt it was a little bit over-priced
