This place had a revamp a couple of years ago. It's bigger and there is a lot of new staff so it's not as friendly or intimate as it used to be. It gets very busy at lunchtimes and weekends so be prepared to wait. Coffee's still good though.

I used to go every week and was never disappointed. However, after changing hands, the quality of the food has gone dramatically downhill. The fish is very thin and the batter is oily. The portions of chips have also deteriorated. I don't go here any more as it is expensive and poor quality now.

I had been a regular customer here for many years but now the coffee is inconsistent and expensive. There is a price hike on the bakery goods every year so it's not good value for money any more.
This is a shame as the owner lovely.

The second visit to see Sarah and the team today with my little ones (2 and 5). As always, a delight! They are so fantastic with children and Sarah made my youngest feel very comfortable. Thank you!
