I have been into this store numerous times to check out their stock. Nice designs but ridiculously expensive even when offering a sale. The pressure is uncomfortable from staff, they obviously work on commission and there is an air of arrogance amongst the women who work in this store which makes the shopping experience uncomfortable.

Been getting Sampan delivered for several years. We love their dishes, especially the spicy calamari. Haven't been disappointed yet. The $3 delivery charge is a little steep but you could pick up to save this I guess. The delivery guy is always cheery.

Love this little place, the food is brilliant! We mostly get take-away as it is so hard to get a seat in this small cafe. Have yet to try it for dinner, sit down lunch is very busy. Staff are helpful even when obviously flat out on their feet and always very polite. Usually get a hello or a thankyou from Chef which is a nice touch. Glad to have this place in the neighbourhood!

If you want service with a smile, forget this place. Seems to be a family affair and all are arrogant, rude and unhelpful. I have tried this place on three occasions just in case it was a one off but three times with the same result says that this shop should carry the above rating. Salads (which I went for) are not too bad and chickens are cooking fresh when you go in. Unfortunately, appalling service does not cut it with me.

The food was very good. Highly recommend the banquets for variety and value.
The decor is very modern asian and elegant. Service also very good and fast considering this place gets very busy.

Don't be fooled by the 'impressive' website. This place is nothing like it's speel.
Our starters were tasty but dry and appeared to be double fried. Our two main courses were bland and average with a very poor attempt at garnishing the dish, no eye appeal, in fact quite the opposite. No wow factor in the decor as the website suggests rather, cheap asian prints and poor painted walls. Prices were high in relation to standard of food.

Best poached eggs I've ever had, perfectly cooked and the bacon (ham also offered) was excellent, not salty...I ordered spinach which was fresh and lightly steamed and sweet cherry tomatoes, all delicious. The breads are cooked on the premises and are fantastic...
Highly recommend the calamari dish for lunch or dinner as well - excellent!

I love the food here, very consistent and very authentic. Most staff are helpful and pleasant and we always order too much because we like so much on the menu!

Small, inviting restaurant with great staff who are very courteous and obliging.
The servings are generally small but the food is very tasty and the menu extensive. The seafood tempura was excellent. The complimentary glass of sake was a very nice unexpected touch.
