My favourite place to go for Yum Cha! There is lots of variety and is always very tasty. Make sure you try the mango pancakes for dessert - they are delicious!
We have only ever had Yum Cha here - the other meals seem quite expensive. The Yum Cha is ok... There isn't a huge variety but it makes for a quick and filling reasonably priced lunch.
Inconsistent coffee - when it is good, it's good! But when it is bad, it is very bad! I always order the same thing, and regularly get a very different result. It really depends on the person making it, and you can definitely tell when you have been served by someone new. The free cookie is always good though!
Yummy meals, seems fairly reasonably priced compared to others around the area, and have some good takeaway specials.
I went here once when my normal massage therapist was away. I had to wait 2 weeks to get an appointment and while the massage was ok, it was nothing to rave about. It was all very professional, as the other reviews say, however I wasn't made to feel very welcome and probably wouldn't go back again.
I had never tried Sri Lankan before and was a little cautious about trying something new, however a work colleague convinced me to try it, and luckily I did! I don't have much to compare on, but the Curry Grove is absolutely amazing!! Great value and super yummy (especially the biryani rice and chicken curry)! I can't get enough of this place. The staff are very friendly, and I now regularly grab lunch from here.
Great noodles and sushi - always very fresh and tasty. Staff are friendly and happy to make any changes if you ask.
The pizza's from here are great - very tasty, great selection, and very well priced. It is usually fairly busy though so best to call ahead.
Good little home set up. Have only ever had tans done and Melinda does a nice job and uses a great product. Can be difficult to get an appointment though - even though working from home, the hours are not very flexible.
I purchased 3 bridesmaid's dresses from Ferrari in Dandenong last year, and it was honestly one of the most horrible experiences I have ever had. With one of my bridesmaids having been overseas, we didn't have a huge amount of time to find and order the bridesmaid dresses, and had just over 4 months till the wedding. Having looked in a few shops, we found a lovely dress at Ferrari and ordered from them the same day, in mid-June. They reassured us the dresses would arrive within 10 weeks, leaving plenty of time for alterations, etc. While I didn't really want to be spending over $1200 on bridesmaid dresses, I decided that I would in order to ensure that they came from a reputable store, were good quality, and arrived with plenty of time. Basically, a long story short, the dresses arrived over 1 month late, there was absolutely no follow up from the store unless I called them to find out what was happening, and the ladies (that were lovely, helpful and more than happy to take my order/money at the beginning) became rude, unhelpful and basically nasty, and kept changing what they had originally told me (for example, their September delivery became October which then became mid-October which ended up only being an “approximate date†– and the dresses finally arrived in November). They told me that none of this was their fault, and even though I purchased the dresses through the store, I needed to raise the issue with the dress manufacturer. I do not normally post reviews, however to avoid anyone else ever going through this, I would never recommend purchasing anything from this store.
Approximate cost: $1200
