Warning: do not waste your money at Halo Heaven! It is a misleading SCAM!

I originally found Halo Heavem after looking at party supply stores online. They seem to stock a huge number of items at very reasonable prices. I emailed them to ask if they would ship to Australia. 'Sure!' I was told. I was so excited to place an order of little fairy wings and wands for my daughters fourth birthday party.

Placed order. Anxiously waited 10 days, expecting that items had been posted and could arrive any day. Finally receive an email- items have been packed but will require an extra $17 shipping. My original order was $40, with $16 post! Ten days to tell me they've doubled the shipping! They also point me to a section of the website where it states,

"We will contact you to approve the actual rate if you were under charged. If you don't approve it or we can't contact you within three days then your order will be promptly refunded. "

Fair enough, I think, and I return a polite email saying that I can't approve that amount (as it is double the originally charged shipping!) and request a refund.

The next email in a few days time tells me that they will refund, minus a 15% restocking fee! Seriously!?!?

I am disgusted with how misleading their website is- statements regarding refunds are misleading, and the customer service is terrible. Yes, I do realize we are dealing with different timezones, but realistically, ten days to send an email about extra postage?!? Doubling the original postage that I was charged?!?! Refusing a full refund?!?!

This is what really annoys me: the original email I received after asking about shipping to Australia told me just to go ahead and order on the website (and pay of course), rather than send through a list of items to get a quote for shipping! They can make their money without ever actually posting anything!

I could have saved myself a lot of time, energy and money by NOT shopping at Halo Heaven!!

Amazing new kindergarten! My daughter is in the Monday, Tuesday, alternate Wednesday group, and her teacher, Carly is an amazing, bright, bubbly, clever, hands-on kindy teacher. She is everything that you want for your 3-4 year old to play, learn and enjoy during the kindy year. The room is spacious, and clean, and full of plenty of unique, multiple-purpose toys. It's bright and airy, and my daughter jumps for joy every time we walk in! Being at kindy is an amazing experience for both of us, and I'm so glad I chose Kuluin over other local kindys!

Great idea, and I have called them on a number of occasions, but I've found that the answer I get each time is, go see a doctor. Well, if I could do that easily I probably wouldn't be on the phone, would I!

I took my 3 week old baby to see Scott. Unfortunately my baby spent the entire time screaming his lungs out! I tried a repeat session, and the same thing happened. I had hoped it would help with the severe reflux he experienced, but it didn't. The set up was nice, but no luck for us.

I took my laptop to Digitech to get it repaired. They were marginally helpful. The specified charges are pretty reasonable (but see below!). Unfortunately, despite giving them my phone number, they 'lost' my number, so they didn't contact me for a week, and when it turned out they couldn't repair my computer, they tried to sell me a ratty, old refurbished, overpriced desktop computer.

Add to this returning to pick up broken computer and being charged almost double more than what I was quoted only days previously, and this is a shop I will never return to! They said it was for 'extra work' but couldn't find it on the receipt and refused to give me a clear explanation!

My advice: don't trust these guys and don't shop here!!

Nice gym, decent child minding, good range of classes, and excellent location. The prices are a bit exxy, but you get what you pay for!

Great club, lots of benefits, like having breakfast available some days, and nice coffee! Good timetable, lots of classes and enthusiastic instructors. Its a shame that their pricing structure doesn't include the creche! There are so many new gyms around that now offer creche included with the price, and often foe longer hours, so I had to leave fern wood. It's a shame, lovely place but bad pricing.

Helpful, but pricey. I used the dog wash service, very cheap but they didn't do a very good job. They told me my dog was too scared of water to get her right in, but it seemed like just an excuse for them to do a shoddy job. They also sold me some kangaroo meat that stunk and was clearly off!

Flicks in the Sticks play movies at various community venues, or private parties if you have the cash. Well priced, nice set up, great fun for kids, good community building events. Lots of fun!

I love Eco Child. They carry an amazing range of beautiful products, are incredibly helpful, and do nice, long laybys. Unfortunately, their products are extremely overpriced. I have three kids, and was sucked into buying many of their products, which are beautiful, but have learnt to check prices online before buying!
