I went to several phone stores with a list of questions almost a page long when I got my iphone. Most people just fobbed me off and didn't even bother answering most of them. When I went to Allphones I expected much of the same but the clerk actually sat down with me and went through my questions one by one until I was finished, he didn't pressure me at all and was very knowledgeable. I went and had lunch to think things over and came back to buy it after. He was still just as friendly and helpful. Everything was sorted very quickly and I had my new phone before I knew it. 6 months later we went back to get my partner's phone from there and we got the same great service. The clerk even remembered us from last time. Now I wouldn't go anywhere else for phones.

I had Origin for my electricity and gas in one house, we then moved and the new house did not have gas. I called to close my gas account and change the address on the electricity. I gave them the new address to send the final bill to and didn't think any more of it. They sent the final bill to the new address and I paid it. Two years later we had some problems with our electricity account so I called them and was immediately put through to the debt collection part of the gas division. They informed me that I had not paid the final bill on the gas. I proved with my bank statements that I did, it came to pass that they had been sending me notices for the last 2 years from a debt collection agency... to my old address. Even though they sent the bill to the new address they then lost that address and kept sending them to the old address. They had messed with my credit rating because they "couldn't find me" even though they had previously sent bills to that address, the electricity division had the address and it's listed in the phone book... I proved that I paid the bill but I had to take them to the ombudsman to get my credit rating back to normal. Very disappointing.

AGL door knocked my area and their representative misrepresented himself as being from my energy company Origin to get a look at my bill. When we discovered his actual identity we asked him to leave and he kept trying to talk his way out of it and physically stepped in the door so I could not close it. I signed the papers to get him to leave and then had to go through the stress of having to cancel everything. I ended up having to take it to the Energy Ombudsman to get it sorted.

I have been posting a lot of things for a long time. I've also moved around a lot and have had the opportunity to try a lot of post offices. I always find Australia Post over priced but the wonderful service I've received at the Manly office made it totally worth it. The staff are friendly and very helpful. They recognize me every time and always go the extra mile!

My boyfriend and I decided to join a gym and get fit together so we visited the local Fitness First to talk to them about packages for the both of us. In the meeting we said straight away that we were just looking at packages and comparing prices but the trainer was already trying to get my bank account details to direct debit account fees. I said we really weren't interested in signing up that day several times. Eventually he gave us passes for a week to try out the facilities. We went a grand total of twice because every second we were in there the staff were badgering us to join extra classes and making stupid jokes about us not being "hardcore" enough because we only stayed for 2 hours at a time. The second time we were there one of the trainers pushed my partner so hard that he threw up afterward. I found the entire experience to be a very pressured environment, if they had just left us alone for 10 seconds we probably would have continued going.

I went to store looking to buy some women's clubs, I found the staff very knowledgeable and helpful. I spoke to Graeme and he gave me a great deal on the clubs that I ended up buying. I used the electronic swing analyzer and discovered that the clubs I was using previously had been the wrong height for me. They didn't pressure sales and I felt completely comfortable.
