Just purchased tickets to the gold coast for only $69 each way. I've flew with Jetstar quite a few times and never had any issues. Easy to use website where you choose to pay for what you want. They usually have the cheapest fares but you can pay a little more for choosing a particular seat etc

Good range of cakes and a really good website. I got a Lemon Sour Cake for a recent birthday and it had a nice flavour. It was pre ordered over the phone and the staff were really friendly. Easy pick up with parks out the front but just avoid school drop off and pick up times as it is opp a school.

Love their puddings! My fav is the date & butterscotch - yum! They have a stall once a month at the Bendigo Farmers Market and their pudding are also available at Bendigo Wholefoods or can be purchased online too.

Got quite a few little things dirt cheap for the garden and house repairs. Heaps of cheap plastic pots for the gardener. I also got a cheap old sleeper to use as a step in the garden.

I have found these guys to usually have the cheapest prices. They have the 1L bottles of Sukin body wash (without the nasties) which is alot cheaper than elsewhere. They sometimes don't have the items I am after but they do stock a fairly large range.

Went to Eaglehawk Dental after being recommended by family. They charged $180 to repair a broken cap. The dentist did a really good job. Much better than previous dentists. Visually, you can't see that the tooth has a cap and it feels as if the cap isn't even there. Great job and friendly staff, would definitely return.

Went here recently for dinner with 2 other people. Couldn't have faulted the service. Our waiter was very efficient. We ordered 5 plates and a paella to share. Loved the paella, potatas bravas, meatballs and jamon croquetas. Wasn't really a fan of the sardines though. I would suggest getting a pitcher of sangria to share. Really enjoyed this place, great service and food. I will definitely return.

Yearly event on Easter Sunday in the botanical gardens between 11am and 5pm. Free buses run between Bendigo & Castlemaine. $35 per ticket for unlimited wine tastings or $15 for non drinkers. Plenty of local food to purchase. They do have an Easter egg hunt & facepainting for the kids but it is aimed more as an adult event. Bring a picnic rug & chairs. Great day out!!

I adopted my cat through their program at Petbarn. Their adoption cattery is now open every sat between 1130am and 1pm. A passionate animal charity who genuinely care, and are only able to operate through volunteers and donations. Can't speak highly enough of BAWCS.

Yum! This place is awesome. Quick, efficient & friendly service and the food is so good. We had the coconut rice, roti with peanut sauce and the grilled thai bbq combo. Generous serves and all so good, highly recommend!!
