I think this is under new ownership. I went in to ask about what I need for some chickens I am getting - not having had chickens before- and found the lady there so helpful and friendly. They have a large range of products and feeds for all animals- from parrots to horses, and also sell garden stuff and lawn care. very knowledgable and the prices were good. The also sell Parrots.
lovely staff, really helpful. a good selection of stock and usually have specials on at xmas, fathers day etc. found them very helpful and understanding.
We had aveling homes build next door to our investment property. they tok down a fence, spilt concrete on it, and broke a bit of our retaining wall. I must admit, one phone call to them, and as soon as they had finished in that area- they made everything good again- just as well as we had just sold it and didn't want the new young couple to have any problems!
If you go to Denmark, this is the place to go! Very friendly and helpful. Nice place has displays of what is on offer at Denmark ie winerys and an art expo. they also have a visitors shop with some nice touristy things to buy.Loads of info on what to do, leaflets etc. you can book accomadation there too. I always like going there to see what they have to offer.
Yum! their cakes and pies are the best!!Evertime we come down, the first thing we do, is go to this bakery! My husband likes the pies, and I l-o-v-e- the caramel slice!! they are always baked fresh in the morning and sell out quite quickly. a bit on the pricey side, but they are large servings and you can tell they only use the best ingredients. Sometimes if you are lucky they will have yesterdays pies for four for $8.50!I usually grab those as well and freeze them. They do different breads too.
Had to get some appliances to kit out our new rental home. I found Don really lovely and with a wicked sense of humour. He was very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. He did us a really good deal on our purchase and was very friendly and knew his products well. would definately shop there again. they had a really good range with a working hot chocolate and popcorn machine, which we ofcourse sampled!! They turned what was going to be a mundane trip into an enjoyable one.
Owned by the same people who own the front shop ( Battery world) this 4wd place is awesome!! I lost my husband in there for quite a while!!! packed full of off road goodies, with the same great service and friendliness we received previously. Again, really knows what he is talking about, and always keen to offer advice and a friendly chat. very well priced.
I have to go in and look around this shop everytime I go to Denmark!! Beautifully laid out, with exquisite items. Ver friendly people there, and they just let you look without hassling you. Everytime I go in, they have loads of different things, all beautifully presented.I could spend hours ( and a small fortune lol!) in there. I believe they also buy things too.
went away for a long weekend break- and the battery died - we had taken my older car. Gary and Meridith were so friendly and helpful, and really know their stuff! Thier shop is full of interesting things, which you can't help but go in and lok at ( and pick up a few bits!). Really lovely people, nothing is too much trouble, genuine and honest. Will definitely go back there when I am down south again.
I found the assistant pleasant and chatty. They have so much stuff in that store! We had to go to a dress up party, so it was great there- I could pick up novelty items very cheap in the kid dress up dept ( yep - I went as a pirate!)and also picked up some kitchen stuff to for the caravan. you get what you pay for, but in these instances, it didn't matter.saying that, years ago, I bought a microwave spagetti cooker there, for a few dollars and I still use it often!
Approximate cost: $10.00
