We just got a normal hotel room with two queen beds for us and the kids and it was awesome. We didn't have to leave for anything, they have a restaurant with amazing food, a bar, a poolside cafe, and the kids club. The kids water play area is fantastic and the kids spent hours on thevslides. So much fun,
I really loves these markets, its very colourful and there are so many interesting things to see here. There could do to be a few more places to eat where the food is made only for the market but it has a great weekend atmosphere and its near the bay. Makes for a lovely weekend visit.
I have been here quite a few times and it is great place to go to get a tonne of cheap second hand books. it is very popular so get there early and be prepared to spend a good few hours sorting through all of the tables for your favourite and even new interesting books. I always go to the unpriced area and end up with a few bags of books for under $30, A great place to get kids books cheap. Make sure you take a bag or trolley to carry your treasure.
I havent eaten here since it was done up years ago but I have been here for "before dinner drinks". It is awesome inside and has a great atmosphere, i really loves the booths on the side but didnt get to sit in them as they are so popular. A really nice place for after work or weekend drinks, the drinks were good, not too pricey and the staff were courteous. Would love to go back here for food.
The only coffee club that I will go to, this one is quite good as its in a popular area. It has a great atmosphere and a real cafe feel right along the road. The food is okay but the drinks are awesome, and the staff are very friendly. I personally dont visit any other Coffee Club as they are franchised but this one is okay.
Really great pizza place to go at the end of a drinking night out if you are in West End. You buy by the peice , pizzas are already cooked so there is no waiting around, and the pieces are huge.Great way to satisfy a late night hunger and extremely good taste and good value.
I have been here a few times after drinking and partying in the valley, they are open really late and as the pizza is already cooked you dont have to sit and wait very long when you really need some food in your belly. I love the ham and pineapple pizzas and they are all huge pieces!!
Approximate cost: $7
A really good Vietnamese restaurant in the Urban Village, very authentic, with a great atmosphere. It's a little pricy but the food was really good and the staff are very attentive. It's not too busy mid week which is great and they always seem to be open. I really enjoyed their noodles!
This market is not too bad if you are in the local area. it's a bit small compared to some others but they have some interesting stalls and some fresh food. I didn't find too much to buy would would still go back for a browse.
Really nice club in the outskirts of Inala, really quite flashy considering he area. sits like an oasis in the middle of nowhere, quite classy with three areas to eat in the restaurant, tons of pokies and thy have great service. The food is excellent quality and amazingly cheap-on Tuesdays they have two meals for $14 and that makes only $7 do a seafood platter that has a bug, three prawns, oysters, calamari and fruit! The happy hour beers are under $2!! we are going to go every Tuesday for family dinner!
Approximate cost: $10-15
