After finishing off some renovations in our home, We were debating as to weather to get new carpets. We decided to have them cleaned to see how they would come up. I called O'Shea's who came out to quote on them, and was told that the carpets were badly stained in spots, and the spots may not come out, or if they did, that they may come back. We decided to take the chance and had the carpets cleaned. It took the Cleaners about two hours to do the job, and when they were finished, all the stains had gone, and they did not reappear when the carpets dried. We still have the old carpets, and they are looking as good as new.

I needed a flashing for an alteration that I was doing to my roof. After searching high and low, I was unable to find what I required, so I asked one of the sales staff if it was something that they have available. The answer I got was "No we don't have anything like that, but if I could make a scetch on the flashing with some measurements, they could most likely make it to order. I have the measurments with me, so I drew a rough sketch for the person and he placed the order. It was made and on the roof within 3 days.

I needed to upgrade an old airconditioner in our home theatre. I took the house plan in to these guys and they calculated the size of the system I required, and organized for someone to install the system. I am more than happy with the result, and the system works better than expected.

I have vistited the Parafield store on many occations, but recently I purchased a complete flatpak kitchen, with oven and laminate floor. This is a substantial purchase I would have thought. The complaint I have, is that I needed some Aluminium Edging to complete the flooring installation, and the store was out of stock. The flooring person, happliy phoned the modbury store, who had plenty in stock, However the staff on the special orders counter asked me to pay for the goods before they would order it in. I explained to them, that I need to purchase other items, and would pay for the order and purchase the other items when the order was ready for collection. The staff on the special orders counter refused to order in the goods, unless I paid in advance for the goods. Even after a team member from flooring explained the situation, they still refused to order in the Goods. I think that this level of service, or lack of, is unacceptable.

I had a problem tree in my front yard. The roots were creeping under the house looking for water and it began to crack the foundations. I called Adelaide Tree and Stump Removal for a quote, expecting to pay quite a lot since the tree was growing around the power and telephone lines, and was quite tall. The quote I got was way lower than I expected and the tree was removed the next day. I was not at home the day the tree was removed, but they did an excellent job removing both the tree and the stump, and left no mess for me to clean up. I was contacted by Ross a couple of days after the tree had been removed, asking if I was happy with the job (which I was) and a bill was posted to me, which I was able to pay over the internet.
