I sat down outside on a beautiful sunny morning, wanting to order only a coffee. I waited 10 mins and then tried to obtain the attention if the lone staff member outside. She then proceeded to take a guy's order who came after me and then another males order again arriving after me. By this stageI was annoyed. The waitress then cleaned a couple of tables. I again tried to gain her attention both by waving and vocally. Still no response. I got up and left, making a comment to her on the way out... "Sorry I didn't see you!" NOT GOOD ENOUGH.... I won't be back.

Whole experience was rushed. Waitress didn't tolerate the kids too well and was rather inattentive, food average. She took the kids chips away before they had finished and without asking. The time it took to pay the bill was extensive - Compared to the rest of the experience.

Went for the 4th time...service great but it felt like they couldn't get us out the door fast enough. Food has been hit and miss each time. Once the Cream Brulee didn't have the topping toffee, the steak has was not medium rather well done. and the vegies came well after our main had been served.

The food here is wonderful. There service a little hit and miss. Atmosphere great although can get very noisy downstairs with people waiting for tables. We'll be back

Love this place for coffee...Owner knows regular customers by name which give a personal touch. Staff always will to help where needed. Food is pretty dam good as well. Orders taken and variances from the menu are accommodated without hassle.

The staff at Uplift are always polite, professional and happy. They provide amazing service and are the best I've been to. They are always aware of, and are able to advise professionally on new products. A pleasure to pay for the pain of waxing!
