This shop is a hidden treasure trove of unusual and stylish items, when you are looking for something a little different for yourself or for a gift. - the ladies in the shop are always helpful. Being Mount Eliza it is not cheap but there are items from a few to a few hundred dollars. Cosmetic, Skin Care, Handbags, Fashion Jewellery, Scarves to name just some of the range of items available and all a little different from the mass produced offerings of the department stores.

I love visiting this shop - breads, yummy cakes, deli items, great sandwiches, fresh and frozen food items, and an extensive selection of gourmet groceries - I always find something I want. Staff are great - and they also make pretty good coffee.

You do pay a little more here, but the quality and variety of the fruit and vegetables are well worth it. In addition there is a juice bar, and a range of fresh/ready to eat and packaged gourmet products available, which are great for special occasions, or when time is limited. Highly recommended.

A terrific spot with a Middle Eastern flavour in busy Hampton St. Have been there for breakfast, lunch and dinner over the past 12 months or so, and each time it has been great. Warm welcome, friendly efficient staff, great decor, reasonable prices and very good food! Can be a bit noisy downstairs, so if its warm there is a nice courtyard at the back, or for a group, a private dining area upstairs that can be booked.

I go to Nail D'zigner every couple of weeks for a $20 manicure. Its is centrally located adjacent to Myer in Bayside Shopping Centre, easy to get an appointment, and for the price, a good quality service. On the down side, it can be very noisy as the staff talk to each other in their own language across the shop, the TV is always on, and there are people coming and going constantly. Staff are very matter of fact, and could be a bit more friendly, however its good value for money, and works well for me.

Menu is not extensive, but has a good range of dishes with a French influence. This was my second visit, and equally as enjoyable as the first. Food was fresh, tasty and nicely presented. Venue is in an old house, that has been cleverly converted to a restaurant. Staff are friendly and helpful, checking several times to see if we were enjoying our meal. On the night we visited, the restaurant quickly filled up, and everyone seemed to be having a good time.

A web search for a pet soap I had bought during a visit to the Salamanca Market in Hobart brought up this website. Not only was I able to find the product, it was ordered, packed and delivered promptly. The product "Gorgeous Georgies Gloss Bar" is the best we have used on our 10 year old Maltese X. There are a whole range of other categories to explore.

I have visited Verde quite a few times in the past year or two, and never been disappointed. There is a good range of choices on the menu, and an extensive "specials" board with some simple pasta dishes as well as more substantial offerings. Try the Beef Cheek if its available - seriously good. The owner has recently converted what was a small shop next door to a bar, so you can just enjoy a drink with friends or continue on for dinner if you wish. Good idea to book, as it can get quite busy. Verde is not cheap, but it is good value for money.

Remezzo was recommended to us, has good vibe, and is a nice venue, with excellent food at a good price. However we felt rushed to finish and vacate the table, and the service was well below expectations - won't be going back. Disappointed.
