My in-laws recommended The Nook and I am glad that they did - this place well and truly exceeded my expectations! Outstanding service and fresh, high quality produce used for our meals. My smoked salmon with massive mozzarella was fantastic, as was the lamb burger! These guys went under with the floods and have bounced back incredibly - this establishment is a credit to the staff and owners!

We had a great and memorable night at Medusa Dining Bardon - we were treated to brilliant service throughout, and selected the degustation. The quality of the food was brilliant - and our seating provided a beautiful view of our home town. Ambience in the restaurant was great even though the restaurant was only half full. Final impression was pretty poor however, with the only toilet available being the shopping centre's, down a dark and dodgy corridor. The condition was far from appropriate considering that we were all dressed up - we expected a little more in this respect.

When I visit my parent's place, I always make an effort to try our their local restaurants - Thai Blue Elephant is a little, underrated Thai Restaurant. While lacking some ambience, its staff provide friendly, punctual service. The curries and stir fries are of good to above average quality - they must be if I keep on going back.
