Had dinner here with my mum and ordered the Mushroom risotto - which was to die for. My mum also really enjoyed her Seafood pasta.
Service was a touch slow - we waited quite a while for our drinks even though we were sitting right near the bar.
It was also slightly overpriced.

I first went into the Alan Pinkus section of Myer and the sales assistant was lovely and helpful and wrote down the shoe and size I was after,
I later returned to the store on little Burke St, and I wasnt greeted or asked if I needed help by either of the 2 sales assistants in there. I walked aimlessly around the store and then decided to go back next door to Myer to purchase the shoes.
On the plus side the shoes I bought were fantastic, comfortable and very high quality. I was after a very low heel and Alan Pinkus has a great range of shoes in all different heel sizes.

Koko black has the most amazing iced chocolate!
They also make their own chocolate ice-cream which is sooo yummy.
Service is pretty good too but the shop is kind of small so if you have a stroller or pram you may have trouble.

The Hopetoun tea rooms are amazing. But get there early as you will definitely be waiting in a sometimes very long line to get in.
Once in there is the most delicious selection of cakes and sweets to choose from and the coffee isnt bad either.
Dont even bother trying to get a pram or stroller in though - it is very small and the tables are quite close together.

Service was very disapointing. Waited a long time to be seated with staff just walking past us ignoring us.
After waiting a long time to even order - our food was at the table before our drinks were.
Our drinks were finished and I had to call the waitress over to order new drinks - which we never got.
Food was fine but not amazing.

Was at Chapel St yesterday and as it was Pouring with rain just happened to stumble into the nearest place to eat.
The burgers were soooo yummy! 100% beef and weren't super greasy as how I had expected them to be. Had really yummy thick cut chips too!
The decor is a bit crappy - seats needed to be upgraded!

Approximate cost: $15 a meal

The dresses were absolutely stunning - I tried on 4 dresses and the sales assistant actually told me that I looked the best in the 1 sale dress I had picked out (she was right) But I respected the honesty of the assistant.
As I was buying 'off the rack' I was also given a discount.

Approximate cost: $1300

After hearing great things of this store, I decided to check it out to see whether it lived up to the Hype, and possibly book our wedding cake through them.
And wow! We spoke with Cath a lovely manager there and she talked us through our options and talked with us about what is visually appealing.
While the cake is not exactly cheap - about double the price of a standard wedding cake - Its totally worth it on taste alone - and is visually amazing.

The products in store are completely mind blowing - the salted caramel is to die for!
(update) Our wedding cakes were amazing - we got so many compliments on them. They tasted amazing and looked even better.

Approximate cost: $Higher end.

My mum gave us a Costco membership as a gift. This was the best gift I have ever recieved. $60 for one year - My partner and I worked out we only had to buy 5 boxes of nappies (Easy!) to make back the money for the membership.
You save soo much money here. I bought a kitchenAid for $100 less than everywhere else I looked.
Meat is VERY good quality.
Costco would be fantastic for a big family - But as we are only a family of 3 we mostly buy non-perishable things - toilet paper for example and keep in the cupboard.
You do spend a lot in 1 go but I find I go to coles/woolies a LOT less and save a lot of money.
Alcohol is much cheaper than any other store!!!
The Staff are fantastic here. They pack your trolley for you and go out of their way to help you with every question. Staff at the optical counter were very nice.
