Always a nice place to stop for morning tea or lunch while shopping at Birkenhead. They are open from 8am so you could even have breakfast there.

A great menu made up some of the more unusual foods such as beef served with bone marrow & Pig's ear schnitzel which I can greatly recommend. We had the Degustation menu which gave us the opportunity to let our tastebuds be daring. The staff and service was also top notch…no wonder this restaurant has “2 hats “

Approximate cost: $90 5 course degustation

We took our grand-children aged 2 & 4 here yesterday and they had a great time. There are many animal's, birds and reptiles to see. Some of which you can get up close to and touch and feed. In fact feeding the Kangaroos was a hi-light for the 4 year old as the Kangaroo food was in a ice cream cone and he thought that was so special we had to send a photo and story for news today.
The staff were friendly helpful and informative. It would be a great place for tourists to visit to view Australian natives up close.

I know people knock Jetstar for food, etc. I certainly have. But we had a great experience with their call centre recently. We have booked a holiday O/S with our daughter and her family. As the trip was booked through Expedia we are unable to pre-book seat. Meaning that unti we do the on-line check in 48 hour before we won't know where we are sitting. I called Jetstar explained the fact that we are a group of 6 with 2 small children and would like to be seated together and we were worried if waited till on-line check in time we would find it hard to sit together. The Jetstar guy said he understood our concern and he could organise it from his end now. All done free of charge....Thank's Jetstar.

Nice place to go for a cheap but tasty Thai meal. They also do a speedy delivery service. It's always busy [so book first to be assured of a seat] which is a good indication of quality.

Approximate cost: $15-$20

Not only is this one of the cheapest pharmacy around for prescriptions they also are very helpful and friendly. Twice recently I have had problems with scripts....once I took the wrong script and they kindly gave me the medication I needed and said to bring the correct script in next time. Then today when I lodged my script it was out of date. Being Anzac day there was no way I could get a new script from my Dr. But again they gave the medication and told me to return with a new script.

We had a great night from the time we arrived and our car was whisked away and valet parked to the time we left when they phoned ahead to have the car waiting for us.
All the food was delicious but the desserts excelled. As 2 in our party were celebrating birthdays they had "birthday cakes"the others had a pyramid of soft meringue that when you cut into it had a little fountain of rich chocolate sauce...but wait there was more...a second fountain of strawberry sauce. How did they ever do that???

This review is for Kazbah, Ryde NSW

We have been here a few times now. So have sampled a fair few items off their menu. Breakfasts are excellent if you want a change from everyday Bacon and egg.
I can also strongly recommend the Kazbah bombe for dessert too.

Having never tried Indonesian food we were curious to try this place. It's tucked away between Pier 6-7 at Walsh bay and is very handy for a pre-or post theatre meal. The food is delicious and the service very good.

Approximate cost: $40 per person
