I went to a wedding here in February. the staff where helpful and everything was nice on the day. People are still talking about the wedding how much fun they had and how good the food and service was.

Reasonably pricey, but worth the experience. Everything is made out of ice, but it could be looked at as a glorified freezer. It's something interesting to do, but nothing beyond that. They don't like you taking photos inside, so they can try and flog the expensive ones they take of you.

Good function centre on the north shore. I went to an awards night here last week and the place did surprise me. Well laid out reception and ballrooms that can easily sit 400 each. As a function centre is is first class and I thought they did a great job with the amount of people, the service was very fast and efficient, lighting and sounds was excellent and the tables, chairs and presentation was right up there.

Terrey Hills is a bit of pain without the public transport option – but nothing a charter bus cannot fix

Had a wonderful stay at the Jika. Staff were friendly and professional and made me feel right at home! My room was spotless and the hotel ideally located. I look forward to my next trip to Melbourne.

Good authentic Italian food served well and without a fuss. Always assured of a great meal. Mamas has been getting it right for years. customer service is good.

They specialize mainly in BBQ meats (hong kong style), though they have other options too. I tried their laksa, which is a bit too mild to my liking. Conveniently located in civic with very reasonable prices.

The dining here is magnificent. The food is exzceptionally good and is complmented by a most impressive wine list. Service is of a very high standard the ambience of the place adds to the dining expereince. The menu is so good you ahve to keep going back so you can try another dish on the list. Serving portions are jsut right so that you can have a leaisurely three course meal and not feel like you have over indulged.

They serve great bi bim babs, topped with an egg and a bowl of delicious miso soup. Their chilli sauce is good too. Their combo meals are pretty yummy too. Good place for a quick eat.

One of my favourite thai restaurants in Canberra! Very convenient with several locations and has wonderful and authentic decor. Pad thai, massaman curry and several prawn dishes are a few of my favourite dishes here. Although if you have a large group booking then you can't go wrong with the banquet allowing everyone to sample a range of the popular dishes.

Possibly the best veal on earth. If you are aiming to impress someone with a night out, La Scala is perfect. It's right in the city centre, so an easy walk to movies, theatre, pubs or nightclubs. The service is flawless, the place is cosy, and the food is absolutely amazing. It's expensive, but it is worth every cent. How many meals do you actually remember years later? This is one you will.
