I have mixed feelings regarding our dining experience at the restaurant at the Yass Soldiers Club. The service was great. The staff were very helpful and apologetic of the lateness of the food. They had an event on in one of their event room and because of this, they were very busy and had sold out of a lot of food. We waited far too long to get our food (whole time the staff were apologising and brought activity packs for the kids). All but one of our meals were delicious, but they managed to completely burn my son's pizza. He refused to eat it and we had waited to long and he was starving to wait for another to be cooked. We had to take him through drive through on the way home!

I love the Diggers Club! I have been a member for a couple of years. I like to grow the heritage and hard to find fruit and veg and these guys make it so easy to buy it from home and have it delivered to my door. Everything I have bought from them has survived. Their seeds have good germination rates.
I hope they stay in business for a very long time, so I can continue to get the products I am after!

I have to say that my hopes of a nice meal at the Country Club Bistro was a big let down. It was a busy night when we went, but I would have liked the service to be better (more friendly). Our meals were very slow to be brought out and when they were, they were burnt. It was very disappointing to have dry, burnt chicken schnitzel (a meal that is so easy, it shouldn't be so badly stuffed up). We had considered to line back up and try get our meals replaced, but didn't want another long wait.
I would like to go back and try this place out again, because I had been told it would be good, but I think I will wait awhile longer.

Love, love, LOVE out little town's swimming pool! It is right near the centre of town. It has lots of shade around and places to sit. They have outdoor only pools, so it's only open in the warm months, but to make up for that.....it's free!!!! They have a babies pool, kiddies pool and big lap pool. There is also a kiosk that sells nibbles, cold drinks and hot food. They have life guards on duty.

Although not my regular chemist, I have had to visit this one on several occasions for scripts and over the counter medicines. The staff here are really nice. They remember their customers and seem to go out of their way for people. They have good prices. The stock makeup, over the counter medicines/creams etc, sunscreens, perfume, diet products and small gifts.

This is the only dentist in town. He is a lovely man that makes you feel comfortable straight away. He is good at what he does. I have check ups with him and have had him clean my teeth. He also looks after my 12 year old who has difficult teeth. He has removed my son's teeth in hospital and looked after him well.
It can be hard to get an appointment here, especially as a new patient, but if it's an emergency, they fit you in.

Peter Dayhew is the owner/operator of this business. He is a nice honest guy, who doesn't try to sell you anything you don't need. I have had him our for yearly pest spraying, termite inspections and at his advice, installed termite monitoring stations. I found him to be a lot cheaper hen the other places and his service was just as good.

Wayne and his son are great to deal with! I have had them do termite inspections, yearly pest spraying and dealing with some nasty ants nests. They are professional and efficient. They service all surrounding areas.

I had a see these guys for a problem I was having with my ankle. They were very quick to find the problem and had me fitted for orthotics. These were expensive, but came with a good warranty. The follow up care with them was great! They have a small office I Cootamundra (but you need to book through the Wagga office). Here, I was able to have my follow up care close to home.

My children and I go here to get our free eye checks every 2 years. They have plenty of appointments available and the staff are nice and friendly. They are professional and put my kids minds at ease during the testing.
