My son was not feeling well when he got home today from school. So I called Brisbane After Hours Doctors. I didn't have to wait on the phone to long before the receptionist answered. She was very polite and nice great to talk to. She had our details down in no time at all. We had to wait just over 3 hours for the Dr to come. But being this time of year and knowing a lot of viruses etc going around. I think they still made it in good time. As I have had to wait longer in the past for other after hours Dr from a different service. Once the Dr arrived he was great to. Very calm and polite. Great with my son who was tired and not feeling the best. I will be using their services again. Its good to know they have bulk billing for the whole family. Should my husband and I need a after hrs Dr as well as our GP is registered with them.

Had a friend who was not feeling well. So I sent her a bunch of flowers to help brighten her day.. Found Aalora here on womo.. My son who is 6 started swimming at this club 2 weeks ago.. He loved it. Everyone there is friendly. Being only 6 and his first time he swam 12.5 meters. With the aid of the older kids in the pool with each young swimmer it gave him confidence to give it another go. Payment is only $70.00 for the season and $5 each night with a free raffle ticket. They also off food and drinks there are reasonable prices. This is great to get the kids swimming if you are like us and don't have a pool at home. They also offer swimming lessons . Squad and Adult lessons as well.. Great for everyone at any level..

This is a fantastic little place. My kids and I love going here. From the moment you walk in they are ready to give you service.. The food is fresh and great to eat. Prices are great to. If what you want isn't there or you want something freshly made they will cook it up for you there and then. they have dine in and takeaway available

Found this place yesterday through Pay A Sack Forward. This is a charity to help the homeless in Brisbane.. The Espresso House at Windsor offered great and friendly service.. The coffee and food was fresh and great. You could sit inside or outside if you wish. Its got like a homely feel to it. Its doesn't feel like you are in Brisbane.. With a great range to choose from. Its in the back street of Lutwyche you don't notice the traffic.. I highly recommended this place to everyone..

My daughter who is 4 now wanted to do ballet. So my friend recommended Promenade. Steffi loves it. She looks forward to going every week. Right from when I fist made my contact to taking Steffi to her dance lessons. Rosanna and her staff have been easy to approach and talk to. Steffi and all the other kids love their teachers Miss Bianca & Miss Alex.
We had our first concert a few weeks back now. I was a bit shocked with the price of everything. But once I saw the show and how hard everyone worked it was so worth the money. It was very professionally done with dropping the kids off. Watching the show to picking them up after the show. I had a friend who dose dancing at another studio with me and she was impressed with the show. All the kids had fun. (There was not pressure with the concert if you want to do it or not the choice is yours) With a range of dances you can choose from and good quality staff and all types of dances from ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, singing, musical theatre, acrobatics and hip hop. I am sure you will find something for you little one to do. Starts from age 2 1/2 . I think I will be here for a few years to come.

Got given a voucher for a foot spar and back massage. The massage therapist I had was good. She was friendly and did a great job. The only problem I had was the noise coming from the shopping center as it was a busy day. But apart from that it was relaxing and good. For 1 hour it was around $65 . Makes a perfect gift for someone. They offer a range of services to suit your budget.

If you are like me and a little nervous about going to the dentist. book a appointment with Cindy Jackson at Mcgaughran Dental at Chermside. She was great. I felt really comfortable and relaxed and we had a laugh. She is friendly and always asked if I was ok. Will be booking my appointments with her from now on. Prices were reasonable. If you are with BUPA you are not out of pocket much just check with the health fund first. She told me she also works with kids and has been doing that for sometime now. She isn't on everyday but I got a appointment with her no problems at all.

Thought this place was just great. Been living in Brisbane for years and didn't even know it was there. The Judith Wright Centre of Contemporary Arts had a show on tonight that I won tickets to. Fright or Fight. The show it self was great. What I like about this place is that it was clean the prices for drinks were reasonable. Staff were friendly and parking in the car park across the road is only $6.00 for the night. They have shows that are adult only or some where you can take your kids. Depending on the show the prices range from $11.50 to $35.00 there about. If you are looking for something a bit different. Then check out what shows they have on.
