this place is great. the tasting plate with waffles melted chocolate & fruit to dip is in fantastic. the hot chocolates are to die for. its a great place to catch up with friends. they also sell some great chocolate gifts

this backpackers is the only one in the rocks. its is only a few minutes from the station. it has a rooftop terrace with the best view of the opera house & the harbour. the rooms are cheap & clean. the facilities are fantastic. there are always taxis out front and its easy to get to everything from there. you can get a full breakfast including cappacino for $6.

this place is great. we have taken the kids her once for easter and another time had a birthday here. Beware it is not cheap so save it for a special occasion. for the birthday party though it was quite good. the party only went for an hour & half they do everything and the kids all get a bear. this place is great place for a present i.e take your neice or nephew & get them a bear as a present. its all about the kids choosing everything they want in a bear.

this place is great to catch up with friends. they have pretty much everything you could want. including main meals. Some nights they have a guitarist playing upstairs. very nice place.

i had my wedding here 2 years ago. the venue is great. on site accomodation and pretty much everything is included. what they really need is a bar onsite. so guests can have a drink between the ceremony & the reception. my guests really were stuck waiting around as the weather was terrible and the savoy would not open anything earlier. they have all the facilities to sell drinks they just would not do it. other than that the food was great and the venue is really pretty.

i booked a private room for my hens party at baroq. this place is amazing. the drinks in the event package were amazing there was soo many drinks!!! the caramel shots were great. I am very glad i booked a private room. I don't think myself or my friends would have gained entry otherwise. this place is full of supermodels! the event lady tailored the package to what i wanted ie i didn't want a limo so instead i received extra drinks. the music was great also. Best place for a hens party. the decor in the room is amazing. i also received a cd full of professional photos of the night.

i used darrens flowers for my wedding. the boquets were great with small gems placed throughout. only downside was one of the flowergirl boquets was a little wilted but you can't really help that i guess. they were quite reasonably priced also.

i used labelle cakes for my wedding cake 2 years ago. i showed her a picture of what i wanted and she quoted me about a quarter of the price i was quoted anywhere else. the cake was amazing. she delivered it to wedding venue in brighton. oh and she made the inside a beautiful caramel mudcake.

this place is very nice. my husband loves a beef dish with rice. we can never remember what it is called though. The tempura is very nice. the restaurant is lovely and the staff are attentive.

this place is really cool. there are lots of things to choose from. the meat tasting plate was really nice. the cakes are fantastic. it is always very busy here so you should book.
