I ordered nasi lemak and it tasted very authentic! The dishes came in big portions and they were really filling. The location and atmosphere was really nice and convenient as well. The prices were alright, but it was worth it.
This is the best thai restaurant I've ever been! The food is great, service is great, atmosphere is great and the prices are cheap too. I ordered red duck curry and it was yummy! I enjoy the chicken pad thai and the fried ice cream too.
The food is decent, they have a wide variety of lunch boxes to choose from and they do have specials after around 4pm on weekdays. I enjoyed their ramen noodles and their deep fried soft shell crabs! They sell a wide variety of little deep-fried snacks and they taste pretty good too.
This place sells decent thai food and the prices are cheap. They have a wide variety of thai curry dishes to choose from and they're pretty good. I particularly enjoyed their Panang Curry. I used to wait until around 4-5pm on weekdays for specials and they sell a container of rice & curry for $5! Great deals for students!
It's a decent Thai restaurant. The prices are pretty expensive however it comes with a large portion so you can always take away what you can't finish! I ordered a Pad Thai and it was delicious, and huge! What I dislike was that during lunch times, it generally gets pretty crowded and you have to wait on a queue to find a seat. It does get a bit loud during lunch times on weekdays so it's not a good place to go for a relaxing chat.
Their sushi train is quite decent and fresh but it does seem a bit pricey to me. It's an average Japanese restaurant, there's nothing really special about the food. It's pretty fresh because you can see them being made on the spot. The thing I enjoyed most is the atmosphere. It doesn't generally get too crowded, and it opens till late so it's great if you wish to have dinner before watching a movie at Mac Centre Event cinema.
I've been there a few times and my favourite dish is the spicy pork stew. The spicy pork (stirfry/sizzles) is quite nice too. It comes with rice and a variety of side dishes (dried seaweed, kimchi, potato/veggies fried cakes?). The atmosphere is relaxing and it doesn't get too crowded. The price is not too expensive, depending on what you order. Overall, it was a nice experience.
Approximate cost: $15-20
I went there with a group of friends/colleagues (about 12 people) and we ordered the set menu (antipasto, pizzas and pastas). There was plenty of food for the set menu and I quite enjoyed the antipasto and the pastas. The food was great and filling. The price is not too expensive as the portions are quite large.
Approximate cost: $30
My favourite place for sushi train. They have a wide variety of sushi to choose from and it's fresh, but they can be quite pricey. They are also very crowded but it's worth a try.
I love love love this place! It's basically a Korean grocery shop with a small tent outside with seats and BBQ. You can buy fresh food (meat and veggies), snacks, and drinks from the Gold Mart grocery, then you sit outside with friends and cook your food on the BBQ! The meat is quite fresh and you get to decide how much you want to eat. It's pretty much self-serve and I think that's the fun part. Because everyone is cooking their food at the same time, you can smell the smokey BBQ aroma everywhere. The down part is the service, it's not great because you need to keep going back and try to find someone from the shop, and it can get pretty packed and cramped up. If it's crowded, it can be pretty loud too. From my experience you have to make booking in advance because it's quite packed most of the time.
