I totally agree Bubbles28, it should be called Yuckey instead. I've only been to this place once and can assure you, it would be the first and last time. We bought buffet vouchers from groupon for half price buffet and thought we might give it a try even after seeing some really bad reviews on the internet. All I can say is, we should've listened to the online reviews. The place was filthy, only one staff was working on a Saturday night and it took forever for our orders to come. When the foods came they were cold and bland. Whenever we try to place order the waitress would ignore us and pretended not to see us waving and calling her. We were also told that because we used voucher, we could only order sashimi and unagi once, if we want more we would have to pay extras. The sashimi were not fresh at all and tasted like it's been in the fridge for days. At the end when we were leaving the staff asked if we would like to get a $20 discount voucher for next time, we flatly said "no thanks" because we would never be stepping foot near that place ever.

Used to be a good Chinese Restaurant called China Village. Now with new owners and virtually no facelift, it's Japanese. Yeh sure!
It was an "all you can eat deal". Select from a typed Menu and the dishes kept coming, whether you were ready or not. Too much of the same and a salad that was frozen straight from the fridge was not good. Quality wise you can do better at any Shopping Mall.

They provide the Japanese Buffer in 30 AUD per head. The food is quite good. You can taste different food as you like. As 30 AUD per head, it is better than my expectation. The service of staff is little but slow, but acceptable.

The name says it all - Yuckey. There are some restaurants that should not be allowed to call themselves such. This was your local takeaway Japanese at restaurant prices. This used to be a Chinese Restaurant which might have been quite decent given the chef and waiters were Chinese. The only thing Japanese about this restaurant was the fake bonsai when you first walk in.
