M friend and I were treated like royalty at Yan Refael. We had our hair styled and were overwhelmed but the enthusiam and the attention to detail. I was very impressed with the service and the kindness of the staff. I will be happy to return again.

I could not believe the quality and good services I received from Yan and his Staff.
I am very strict with my hair care but with Yan I know that all I need to do is seat down and relax as he will pick the best hair cut and colour for my face and mood.
I live on the other side of town and have no car, however I travel all the way to Elsterwick because they are not only that good but the value for money is Unbelievable .
In fact I have thought about moving to that side so I can be closer to my friends and YAN.

I have been to many hairdressers in Melbourne - even some of the top salons, but I have never left feeling great about my hair.. until I met Yan!

I told Yan what I wanted in my hair colour and cut, and not only did he listen but he gave me his recommendations and his opinion.
I left with a great colour, great hair cut (style) and money still in my pocket!
Yan has a great enthusiasm for hair, he is honest, friendly and has a great personality.

I can definitely say I have found my hairdresser and cant wait to return!!

Every time I walk into the Yan's Salon i feel at home..
The staff are extremely friendly and always professional..
i have been through many hairdressers and have found none quite like this one!! Yan is perfect at what he does in every way!!
yan takes his time to discuss what you want. I didn't feel like I'm being pushed into anything I don't want or don't need.

Loved my haircut by Yan! He definitely knows hair - I just sat in the chair and told him to do what he thought would look best. Ten minutes later and I had a great cut that I'm still getting compliments on a month later! I couldn't be happier, will definitely go back for my next cut.

Yan is absolutely amazing. He cut the grooms hair prior to the wedding day and on the day styled myself and my three bridesmaids. He was really delightful to have around, making jokes and putting everyone at ease. He is a perfectionist at heart and knows exactly what looks good for all face shapes and hair types. I couldn't have asked for anyone better to do my hair on the big day.

Yan and his team are amazing. Always taking the time to assess each client individually and do what is best for you. My hair was dead and looking pretty bland, however, Yan took the time and convinced me to go short and I am soooooo HAPPY. My hair now looks full and healthy!!! I have had so many compliements on my new do already... AMAZING!

Yan truely loves what he does, and this comes out with his creativity and professionalism with hair! It is so hard these days to come across a talented hairdresser that doesn't charge through the roof; and is genuinely there to please you from beginning to end. I went to Yan with a really difficult job, i had glued in extensions. And even after 4 hours of carefully removing them to perfection, he remained upbeat and interactive with me! Then the final result, replacing them with the most beautiful hair, that matches to a tee, but is much healthier towards the natural growth of my hair. Thank you Yan!! I love my new golden locks! And i can't wait for you to do my hair for my 30th!!
