This is a great club. There are several levels which are sometimes full of different kinds of entertainment.

I love love love this place. Great place to go any night to catch up with friends and have a great night. Their teapots (kind of like shots that come in a teapot that you then pour out) are legendary, and are always delicious. The atmosphere is really great, and there are always alot of people of all ages there (often alot of backpackers too).
There are a few different rooms in there which is good. It does get pretty loud in there, but there are certain spots that you can talk quite easily. Situated in a great location.

one of my favourite venues. world bar has something to offer everyone, with different events on every night of the week, from casual jazz on mondays to dubstep on wednesdays. truly one bar that offers a wide variety. the venue is an old heritage building, sporting outdoor terraces and four different rooms over two levels.
world bar also offer their signature teapots - special cocktails served in teapots, with shot glasses to drink out of.
they offer a pizza menu for dining, with a range of pizzas to choose from, starting at around $9.
the staff are very friendly, and i have never had a bad experience at world bar.

Approximate cost: $15-20 per teapot, pizzas from $9, drinks from $4.50

I've been to World Bar twice. The first time, I thought it was tiny - didn't realise there was more then one room, we didn't stay long because it was late and we were ready to go home. The second time I went, we ordered their signature teapot cocktails (as the name suggests, cocktails - served in teapots). We got a couple to share, and they gave us little shot glasses to make that easy.

The music in the front room was fantastic the night we were there, and on this night, I realised that there were actually a lot of rooms. There was a big room down the back that had alternative music playing, then when you went upstairs there were toilets, then up again to another bar and dancefloor, up again to an area of lounges and then up a final flight of stairs to another bar and dancefloor. It felt like it was never ending bars. Each bar offered slightly different music, each having its own DJ. Had a great night, and stayed till the wee hours of the morning.

Approximate cost: $16 for a teapot cocktail
