Wonderful. The place is upbeat and vibrant, nice and bright, breezy, spacious and relaxed. These characteristics may not seem particularly impressive, but they are essential to any good coffee and meal experience, and are sadly lacking at many of melbourne's cafes. Thankfully not here.
With the surrounds and atmosphere under control, Workshop Brothers enables us to really enjoy the coffee and food on the menu - and we did.
Coffee was delicious, fully flavoured, nicely frothed and just right in terms of temperature.
The plates when they arrived were visually stunning.
Ricotta Hotcakes with Saffron Poached Pears & Sour Cherry Coulis was pretty as a spring picture...
Moroccan Style Baked Egg in Lamb Ragu with Fetta - was served in a tagine along with 3 pieces of sourdough on the side (very generous!)

Love Workshop Brothers, this is a great place with good service, and the coffee is unbeatable, as you would expect from the online reviews. I like their blend as it's unusual.
