I have been to this Woolies today at 3.30-4.00pm. There were only 2 checkouts open and people with full trolleys. It took me ages to pay for my shopping - I live nearby but often go to IGA at Pennant Hills as its quicker and the vegetables are often fresher.
Staff at Woolies are usually friendly and helpful but why are there so few of them?
The self checkout should be 15 items or less, especially when the 15 items till isn't manned.
When the 15 items till is eventually opened because of the queue, the attending staff member should stop people walking strait up and jumping the queue. This happens all the time.
This store is not the largest Woolies i have been in but it is convenient for me to pick up the groceries. The staff are always friendly and helpful.
Convenient parking available, good wide isles and a huge selection of groceries available. Good specials on display, large fruit and meat departments. However often waiting at the checkouts for 2 or 3 customers ahead.
Woolworths Thornleigh is a great place to do your shopping. There are many friendly staff that are willing to help. There is also a larger variety of frozen foods there.
Easily accessible. Wide aisles. Friendly staff. Quite good parking under the centre or on rooftop. getting out of carpark can be a pain with congeted local streets. I don't buy fruit or veg there if I want to keep it for a few days as it isn't very fresh & detiorates quickly.
This has been the supermarket my family uses for the last 3 years. There is a convenient car park located underneath the marketplace , very handy when you just need to duck into the shops quickly.
