Really enjoyed my meal with my two boys and even though it was very noisy with the large open bar that just added to the atmosphere ! My boys really loved there steak and calamari and my steak and guiness pie was very tasty. Would definitely go back again but hopefully wont have to drive so I can enjoy a few Guinness's

This month's work get together was held at the Woodvale Tavern. Always a great buzzing atmosphere, The place was packed so staff were under the pump with numerous orders. Though there was a bit of a wait, understandable, Rosie our wait person was very attentive, with regular feedback on how things were progressing. Flat out busy, yet time for a chat and a laugh, and made sure all orders were filled and to satisfaction. Excellent feed, great value. Really good to dine where you can see the kitchen in action and though heaving, it looked clean and organised. Staff very friendly and accomodating, especially Rosie. Will keep going. Awesome atmosphere.

We went in the Woodvale for a meal which was very nice. The quantities were good and the food nice. They had a band on which was a bit loud - or maybe I'm just getting old - lol!! altogether though it was a nice evening, and hubby liked the English beer!

It wasn't the best pub food I've ever eaten but still very nice. The prices and service was quiet good. It has an excellent atmosphere though, very cosy.

A great place for beer and some live entertainment. Great for sport too. service can be a bit slow at times but otherwise a great night out can be had.

I would highly recommend this tavern for traditional pub food at a great price. The atmosphere is what you would get in a pub in England. This venue also regularly has live bands, and the staff are always friendly.
