A good middle range restaurant if you are looking to eat out in Wonthaggi.

The menu is pretty stock standard but there are a few good chicken schnitzel toppings.

Prices are pretty good but always a few dollars more for non members of the club.

The room is roomy and has a great childrens playground.

You can eat outside but that area tends to be used by smokers.

Vast menu to suit all tastes, lots of entertainment for kids & adults alike, great function room, great bands or live acts, pokies are always going off & some interesting historical reading can be done! There is always something going on here. We have been here plenty of times for general family meals, dates or even just to see an event. The parking is plenty & the staff are always locateable. All areas are kept to the highest cleaning standards around!

Was hoping for a far better experience from this venue as they celebrate 100 years. A great entry for all, detailing the history and specifically the coal mine. As for the food, the waitresses as well as cooking staff seemed to spend more time trying to sort out problems than look after customers. Meals came out at different times, some of them they even forgot! Even after a complaint there was no sorry from management. Kid's game/gift dispensing machines didn't work and yet they kept turning the machine on for more money. On a positive note the drinks were good!!

The food is tasty and generous, good value for money. Adults can enjoy many of the beverages available, while the children can eat dessert then play in the wonderful playroom available. Makes for a good night out.

Great meals, and terrific service. monday and monday night is seniors day, $11.50 for soup and a main course (choice between 2 soups and 5 main meals) tuesday is steak and flake day and night, choose between grilled or beer battered flake or a steak with your choice of sauce $16.95 for members or $18.95 for guests, plus you get a free beer, wine or soft drink with it. wednesday night is schnitzel night, your choice of pork, chicken or beef schnitzel with a choice of sauce. sunday and sunday night is all you can eat carvery, choose between 2 soups and then help yourself to roast lamb, pork and chicken with roast vegetables and sauces. $14 for members and $16 for guests. plus every day of the week except for sundays there are 3 members specials you can choose from, $11 for members and $14 for guests. there is also an extensive menu you can choose from.
