After having recommended the food in this place to several friends and family, I returned at approx.1.30 in the afternoon on what looked like a very busy day. I had my young son with me and my father and after ordering and asking for take-away as there were no visible tables we were told that there was in fact a table outside. At this point we paid at the register and headed outside to find that there were no tables. When we asked about this we were told that someone must have taken the table in the meantime but that we should wait a few minutes for another. I said that we'd wait 5 mins and if nothing became available we'd head off and grab our food as t-a (son was unlikely to stay patient. in the next 5 mins nothing became available, and we were given a drink that we ordered in a glass and a take-away coffee. After telling staff that we would have to head off and to take food as t-a we waited at least another 5 mins until i went inside and saw them making our food. Well, i thought it was our food. At this point, I was a bit annoyed that they'd told us we had a table and we didn't (easy solutions might be to reserve it/tell us to grab it/suggest to others they might wait 5 mins for a table/grab us another table inside that had become available in the meantime) but then I got really annoyed when i realised that the food they were preparing was for 3 other customers, 2 of whom had ordered after us! After asking them what was happening with our sandwich we were told that a lot of people were ordering toasted sandwiches and that ours was coming(!) I then pointed out that others seemed to be getting served (the same/similar sandwiches) before us. Anyway, after receiving our sandwich and salad i was really disappointed to find that while the sandwich was good, it was not on the bread we ordered and that the salad ($10) seemed to weigh 5 grams b/c it only seemed to have spinach leaves, some pumpkin (and not a lot) a few pine-nuts and RAW ONION which i absolutely hate and refuse to eat and was not mentioned on the description of ingredients (only caramelised onion was which i totally eat and was in there, though again in short supply). Anyway, an altogether disappointing experience somewhat made up for by the fact that their sandwich was very good. Ahhhh.

Approximate cost: $10
