I would never recommend this place!! My friend held here wedding ceremony here and was treated poorly from beginning to end. The owners were rude, arrogant and put in extra fees and charges wherever they felt like it! And the building is beyond rustic, it's a poorly constructed shed. Brides beware!!!
My favourite, hidden gem in Adelaide. We had our wedding here. The food was exquisite, the atmosphere relaxed and the service exceptional. Julie and David made it feel homely, which is what we wanted for our day. The bed and breakfast was delightful with a unique spread of local produce and home-made bread. The grounds are beautiful and the peacocks stunning. I first heard of this place when they hosted acoustic music and have been in love with it since.
I attended a wedding here about a month ago. I didn't even know this place existed being at the end of a suburban road, just seemed strange.
It is actually a great place for a wedding as everything is there, many old buildings and yes, peacocks everywhere. I did find our meal at bit odd, being a different roast meat for every meal, a bit of variety would have been better. The staff certainly looked after everyone, our glasses were never empty and the food just kept coming. Everything went well and it was a great night for all.
Interesting. Had not heard of this place
