I went to the Williamstown Mussels Fish & Chippery on the weekend, and received one of the worst lots of fish and chips I have had in recent memory.

Firstly, the service was below average, and the person behind the counter was border-line rude and obviously did not want to be there.

The flake (grilled), when we went to eat it, was one solid hunk of immovable, tough flesh, with gristle running through it! Whilst the chips were crunchy, I had to throw the flake in the rubbish bin as it was inedible.

Very disappointing.

I come here many times there fish and mussels are so fresh you can also get my favorite which is mussels on a stick you can sit inside to eat or out in the court yard where they have a mini pond with fish in it. There very cheap you can get flake chips and salad for only $14 and that's fresh flake, also they sell fish of the day which always changed they serve a very large amount of chips also

Its a good place to get fish and chips, as everything is cooked fresh for you.

The flake had the right amount of batter and fried to a nice crisp golden colour.

I am very pleased and like to go there every so often.

the prices are a bit high and the quality of the food could improved, the staff as well need improvement. though the location is very good!!

This place is a bit of and icon in Williamstown. Phone ahead with your order in the warmer months as it can be very busy and the wait very long. A good sign of a great place though!
