Spacious dining area with lovely views over vineyards and paddocks; very good food and wine; excellent service. We had the pork belly (entrée size), interesting chicken salad, toblerone cheesecake and trio of gelati - delicious. We'll be back!

Beautiful setting, excellent service and gorgeous food and wine. Main meal portions on this visit were perhaps a touch on the smaller side (probably a good thing!) but each morsel was absolutely delicious and the flavours popped. We plan to return many times over and will be inviting our friends to join us and experience the delights of West Gippsland firsthand - very impressive! :)

Went on a whim to Wild Dog Vineyard Restaurant last Saturday and found it a very relaxing and quality dining experience. We were looked after with good knowledge of the menu and attention by the table staff. And it was good to have a reasonably priced wine list.

Whilst we really enjoyed the shared meals, we were very disappointed in the deserts and raised that with the staff. The waitress did take the feedback well, but then came back and said that they would not charge us for our drinks- which were only two softdrinks and four coffees. So the cost of the deserts that we sent back virtually uneaten were still charged to us- and were dearer than the drinks they didn't charge us for! Whilst the intent was good the execution was clumsy- so it left any overall poor impression.

A pleasant afternoon with some friends who came up from Melbourne. They too were impressed with food and service.
As we were running 30 min late, I appreciated the phone call to remind us when the kitchen was due to close.
Although the menu arrangements and meals are a little complex for firs-time visitors, the table crew took their time to properly explain the options.

We have been to Wild Dog Winery many times over the years and have never had a bad dining experience there.
our last visit was on 26/05/2012 . it was the first time we had tried their Autumn / Winter menu.
Our waitress , Casey, was very friendly and took the time to explain the menu to us , which we greatly appreciated.
Our meal began with the usual crusty bread with olives , olive oil and balsamic vinegar dip.
I chose the foie Gras, which did not dassappoint. my partner enjoyed the Pork Bellie with micro asian salad.. We chose the Wild Dod 2005 reserve Chardannay for our wine.
This was followed by an esqusite dessert of poached raspberries and strawberry puree with a lovely seasonal garnish of rose jelly cubes andmerangue pieces.
Finishing with a glass of Wild Dog Dessert wine and short black coffee,
We would like to thank the staff at Wild Dog Winery,from front of house to chef and kitchen, for providing us with a very pleasant Saturday lunch, Needless to say we will be back again.

A fantastic venue with superb wines and food. I have now been four times and it's worth the drive from Melbourne. Excellent service and a wonderful view. Highly recommended!
