We went to Qld last summer with my 6 and 3 year old. I was a bit nervous that we wouldn't be able to go on much but my 6 yr old was able to go on most of the big rides with dad. We also booked a cabana by the wave pool which was a life saver as it was very busy, and we could come and go and have a great resting spot with food and lockers etc. The little kids area was great and had mini versions of most of the big rides which my 3 yr old loved and a few of them the adults could also ride which was good for me. overall it was a great day
The rides are awesome and there's something for everyone , great atmosphere ,good seating areas lockers, and facility's as mentioned food prices are quite high especially if your taking your family .
Approximate cost: $120
Our family loves wet n wild. Something for everyone! Only negative is food prices are fairly high so we just go across highway to get fast food and head back when we are done. Wave pool can be super intense also.
Approximate cost: $$
I heard a guy here say he has been here heaps of times but has never seen the queues so short! Gee, I'd hate to be here in peak season if that's the case!! I'm sick of waiting in lines! We had lunch here but out of all the food places I couldn't really find any that caters for gluten free people which in this day and age is unacceptable! Yesterday we went to Seaworld and their water slide had a contraption which hauled the inflatable tubes to the top. Pity this place doesn't have something like that as a couple of the rides have inflatable tubes which weigh a tonne! My daughter and I had no hope of carrying them to the top, had to get my husband to help us. Anyway, to sum it up, we had fun but sick to death of waiting in lines.
have visited place several times over the past few months and what can I say great rides , plenty of fun and things to do . very large crowds and the waiting in line was sometimes to long
This is more for older kids. We waited 20 minutes in a line only to find that although tall enough, my daughters weren't heavy enough to go on a particular ride.
The kids spent most of their time playing in the water park which was pretty similar to what we had at the resort we were staying at only a lot less crowded.
Definitely good for the older kids/teenagers but not so good for the younger ones
That was my experience as well. The teens had a ball but the littlies were very disappointed.
