Set in the hills en route to the Yarra Valley, one finds oneself in this delightful cottagey restaurant overlooking the valley. The views are fantastic. A wonderful place for children to explore an old tram and play on the lawns outside the restaurant. What a wonderful place to drive to on a Sunday for a leisurely lunch of gourmet cuisine. I chose an Atlantic Salmon Dish with crisp Spinach leaves and parmesan aioli sauce. I couldn't have chosen better. The presentation was in paper, which looked good enough to eat. Luckily I was forewarned by the waiter as my immediate impression was, it was cooked in pastry. I commend the chef, the beautiful environs, and I believe of a night one can be entertained by upcoming artists. Free trio of dips is offered in the late afternoon, on the purchase of a Bortoli wine.

Approximate cost: $26
