4 reviews about Waters Edge

My husband and I have had many pleasant dining experiences at Waters Edge, and were looking forward to celebrating our wedding anniversary there last night. The service and food has nosedived since our anniversary last year.

For dinner, Waters Edge offers either a degustation menu, or a four course fixed-price menu for $80 per head. We chose the fixed price menu, as we have enjoyed that before. The first two courses, as expected, were very tiny, so we waited for the main course. By 9.10, I felt as though I were about to pass out from low blood sugar levels, and there were no signs of our mains arriving. We told the hostess that we were leaving, but she persuaded us to stay, adding that the main course would be only another five minutes.

Our main courses arrived about 15 minutes later; the staff apologised for the delay and brought two complimentary side dishes.

All the food, while delicious and creative, was also very salty and barely warm which further detracted from our dining experience. We didn't wait for dessert or coffee.

We won't be dining at Waters Edge again.

OMG! Had dinner there last night. The food was amazing, and the way it was presented was just beautiful. We had the 4 course dinner for $80, and it was worth every cent. It was so pretty and was incredibly tasty.

It was very quiet there last night, only about 5 tables occupied, all near the windows. Service was very, very good. We were greeted by a lovely lady, who looked after everyone beautifully. She was attentive, without being too much, quiet, polite and friendly and she makes great coffee too.
One for my list of places to go back to.

It's a great place for fine dining. Perfect for a date. They have good quality and interesting food. It's near the lake, so there is great view. I particularly recommend this place if you are going for fireworks
