Went here this morning for Mothers Day breakfast. The best thing about this place is definately the location. I have been here before, last year for Fathers Day breakfast. The food is well made and a good size, as expected, but I ordered my young daughter scrambles eggs with toast and the scrambled eggs had sooooo much salt and pepper, even an adult would have had trouble eating it. Why would they do that? She said she didnt like it and I really should have tried it straight away and sent it back and asked for another one, but unfortunately, by the time I tried it it was too late and she was tired and didnt want me to ask for another. She just wanted to go home and have some toast. The coffee was good and the service was fine, but I think we stood at the entrance waiting to be shown to our table for at least 10 minutes. They pack too many tables into a small space and they are very uncomfortable, but saying that, when we first got there and it was a bit cold they did bring blankets to us to keep the girls and my mother in-law warm. So, I would go thre again, but I have learnt my lesson to tell them - no salt and pepper. My meal was salty too. Which is very surprising, as I didnt think anyone put salt on food anymore without asking first.

The location is just brilliant for this cafe and restaurant. You have to order in the cafe, and pay each time, so if you having a meal and then deserts and coffees afterwards, that would mean paying separately each time, which is a bit annoying. You can buy wine in their bottle shop and then drink it at the tables at no corkage charge. The meals are good, and served at the tables. It is always popular, so its a good idea to book a table before going.

This place is all about location and atmosphere. Located right on the water, with a large outdoor dock dining area, it's a great place to spend a sunny afternoon. We stopped in for some coffee, tea and cakes but will definitely come back for a meal some time.

The service is a bit strange for such a nice looking place. We had to go into the convenience store and stand in line with everyone to be able to order our food and pay. But I think that if you order a meal, they will actually come to your table. The coffees were great and the cakes were satisfying. But mostly we loved the location for an afternoon chat.

I agree the service is a bit strange, but the location is great.
