The beer garden is the big winner here, the pub itself is just a pub, although it does have pool tables and some games to play. But the beer garden is leafy and green and a lovely spot to sit on a sunny weekend. The food has been good the last couple of times I have been, and the specials look pretty good on the menu whenever I'm there.

Nice beergarden and a pretty good bistro menu - the snacks are plenty big enough to share with friends (wedges, antipasto), and the specials are usually the best thing on the menu - changing regularly. The inside is still pretty old-school/dingy pub, but the garden has beautiful greenery and a nice atmosphere.
