As a middle-of-the-night long-haul newspaper deliverer, I often drop in at Warrack Hot Bread for a coffee and 6inch sausage roll. Even at 5am, the coffee is hot and fresh, and those sausage rolls are hot, soft, and flaky!

Please note:- they officially open at 5:30am, but if you are a delivery driver/truckie they will often bend the rules and serve you early. All down to the wonderful, friendly, caring country town attitude towns like Warracknabeal are renown for.

Don't go past the excellent selection of meat pies. They have bacon, cheese, mushroom, and many others. Biscuits are also a specialty. Thier kiss biscuits with the character faces are rich and tasty. A good range of bread products are on the menu too, as well as sandwiches/rolls, and a selection of deep fried food to eat in or take away.

So if you are on your way from Horsham or Hamilton to Echuca, or back the other way, drop into Warrack Hot Bread for a break.

Approximate cost: $3.50 large coffee. $2.50 sausage roll. $3.50 pies.
