decent asian food, loved the sweet potato chips! and FREE TEA

staff were lovely but we had to grab their attention even though the place was pretty empty

prices are pretty high for typical asian cuisine, but i guess the atmosphere was nice - pretty fancy but not over the top, and the music was nice too

Service is fast and attentive, food is ok. Been here a few times and it's ok but nothing super special. Plenty to pick from on the menu and servings are generous.

i like the service too, the staff usually are on the ball with the little things like filling up with water or green tea

Much better service than its Southbank counterpart and in a great central location. The Yasai Katsu Curry is my absolute favorite dish however if you go at lunch time they often have a deal on either for a bento box or a noodle/drink deal. Much better value to eat with one of those. If going on a Friday, make sure you book.

Went here recently for dinner with an entertainment book voucher. Was a busy Saturday night and there was a line, however it moved quite quickly and we didn't have to wait too long. Staff were friendly and helpful, and even though it was busy, they were very attentive. The meals were nice, enjoyed the sweet potato chips and pork belly, however the ramen was a little bland. Overall a good experience!

This place is great for kids - they provide "real food" on the children's menu - not junk like other places - special kid friendly chop sticks and crayons and colouring in pages to keep them occupied. The staff never got frazzled with the 7 kids we had in our party despite them getting underfoot sometimes, as a parent I will def go back as I actually got to enjoy my meal without feeling like my kids were an inconvenience to the staff.

Approximate cost: $15

We went here because we had an entertainment book voucher - always good to try new places. Wagamama didn't disappoint. The food was fresh and tasty and very reasonably priced. I had a teriyaki chicken salad which had a really tasty dressing and some crunchy sweet potato chips as a side. One of my friends had a bento box with chicken gyoza and various salad veges - including some interesting peas - which we all shared. Another who has to have gluten free food had a rice dish with lots of different vegies and meats. This, and the Bento box, also came with Miso soup. We had green tea with the meals which was also very nice - quite a nutty flavour. Even without the discount voucher it would have been a very reasonable cost. Its a place I would go back to - lots more things on the menu to try!

Approximate cost: $15

Great atmosphere and always a great meal. The ingredients are super fresh and I always leave satisfied. The type of place that you're always guaranteed a good meal, no matter what you order. Wagamama's is in my top 5 places to eat in CBD Melbourne.

Great modern Japanese cuisine with restaurants world wide. For a Saturday night the service was very fast. The salmon was cooked prefect with lots of flavour, the katsu chicken was crumbed to perfection with a light curry sauce. They also have a juice menu shave room for desert.
No bookings excepted. You will need to share long tables.

Approximate cost: $20

I have been here with coupon' two for one'.
It was a good value, more than cost with the coupon.
But rice was not good, it seemed to be cooked at low temperature and not moist.
Anyhow it was good.

Approximate cost: $7.5
