Many of their dishes were quite creative adding a twist or two to the ordinal Japanese food that you get elsewhere. I am a big fan of Japanese cuisine but the originality here stands out from others and the taste is superb. Great for a romantic dinner or party with your friends. Good selection of alcohol too.

Quality of the food is above average. However, on the expensive side. We came in a group of 12 people for a friends birthday and though the food was nice, we were disappointed with how slow the food came out.

Beautiful Japanese place. The environment was very friendly and welcoming, the price was a little expensive but the food was absolutely amazing. It was also very well presented.

This restaurant is absolutely beautiful and looks really authentic. Booked a table for 4 guests approx. 3 days before and had no problem securing the table. My only issue was that we had a vegan with us and we warned the restaurant prior, who advised they would supply us with a vegan menu. Once we got there, we found out they had no vegan menu's and the normal menu did not advise which meals were vegan or had vegan options. All in all, it was a great experience and the food was extremely nice. Well priced and again, the place looked amazing.

Spontaneous late lunch the food was freshly prepared & very tasty - we had the bento lunch specials the portions were perfect - very friendly courteous staff recommended another dish to round out our dining experience. Sake recommendations were perfect too. We will be back

i love st kilda and a great japanese menu,its a nice clean place with great staff they have great range of vegetarian dishes i tried the roast duck which was delicious and we also had tempua prawns which were nice prices start from from $13 upwards and a very calm place

One of the hidden gems of st kilda, if not Melbourne.
The food here is exceptional, very rich and tasty Japanese style food.
Portions are a little on the small side for the price, but having said that, the food can't be beat, or matched by oneone, except maybe their sister restaurant.
Staff are always friendly, and welcoming, and the place has a nice relaxed vibe, but with a good organic surrounding.
A must visit place.

Hands down Wabi Sabi Garden is our favourite restaurant in Victoria. The food is always unbelievably fresh, tasty and healthy. We are health conscious vegetarians and there is always yummy options for us to try eat in or take away. The drinks and desert menu's are incredible too.

The Wabi Sabi Garden staff are always warm, welcoming and very professional. We love that they are ready to lend a hand with new suggestions and options. The setting is very unique, interesting and enjoyable. The miss matched high quality hand made Japanese crockery is always a delight to behold too.

We highly recommend anyone who hasn't been to Wabi Sabi Garden to check it out. Great eat in, take away and for party's too.
