Wangi Wangi is a wonderful setting . Vita quite a find.
Excellent friendly considerate service.
Fabulous imaginative food expertly prepared -Oysters in batter on horseradish alioli , mushrooms on brioche ,shared Gorgonzola and ham and rosemary on pizza base.
It was the mains though that stole the show .Beef fillet medallions with caramelised onions and baby asparagus, duck stuffed ravioli (heaven) crispy barramundi on gnocchi.
A fine Merlot.
Limited dessert offering, but we were delightfully full.
Wonderful atmosphere, packed small restaurant on a Saturday night ( thank goodness we booked)
We will return to sample more.

A great surprise to find such quality food. Just moved to Wangi
and cant believe how lucky we are to have 'Vita' in our area. Have tried the tapas, pastas and the duck all were fabulous!

1st time here, had been told that this was very talked about and we must try. Food was lovely but I think overpriced, our main dish that was the special of the day was what we thought only an entrée size and didn't fill us up considering we also had an entrée and bread to start. Being cold outside all the windows were closed and Im afraid the oil smell coming from the kitchen was very strong and as soon as we finished our mains we had to go as we couldn't handle it any longer so they missed out on serving dessert and coffee. Overall as said before food was lovely couldn't fault, but needs work on ventilation and portion sizes. Just a note we did use a entertainment card, wondering if that was why portions were smaller ?

Recently had my 40th here with 50 guests. We had the 'Vita slabs' a 1ftX2ft pizza on wooden boards which came out continuously all night. They were amazing, proper Italian pizzas. We were also able to hire our own muso who played on the deck. The party was so easy to organise and it was a great spot to have it. Cheers!

Dined out at this unique restaurant with friends last week. Finally a restaurant with freshly prepared, pure food! Chefs stuffed squid tubes in tomato ragu were amazing and the osso bucco with saffron risotto was just like we'd had in Milan,Italy. A bottles of Shiraz was recommended it was great quality & value. Cant wait to go back....

THE best food on Lake Macquarie. The chef and his kitchen is visible, so brief chats are possible at the end of the evening - you get the feeling that he is passionate about each dish he prepares. Food as an art - it is rare these days. I love the place; and the service is always friendly. You have a view of the yacht activity on Wangi pier as well.

I like the location and atmosphere here. Food is quite good too. Service is friendly and would recommend this place to anyone

I have heard and read about this Pizza cafe. They dont make those types you get from Pizza hut or Dominos. These are the authentic on. Thin base and genuine fresh toppings and sauces. They might be a little more expensive, but worth the extra cost. Very friendy atmosphere. Worth the trip if you dont live in the area.
