for some reason they are not honouring gift vouchers.. I was given on a year ago but it had a 12 month expiry date. I thought that it was no longer legal to have expiry dates at all. then I saw that they must be at least 3 years. village will not honour it as it may have been bought at a discount. I do not know as it was a kind gift and it is not nice to ask... I am extremely disappointed in them and will not use village again.

I got very sick off the food at Doncaster Gold Class.
Night ruined. It's a lot of money to pay to be that sick afterwards.

Approximate cost: $200

I love coming to Gold Class at Village Doncaster. The menu is outstanding and well priced, and the service is good. A great outing.

We were fortunate to be given a gold class card last Christmas and decided to use it today at Doncaster Village Gold class cinema. All I can say is what a rip off. The prices for a seat are $38 each, then you are expected to order food and drink to be served to you in the cinema. A sign states you are not permitted to bring any outside food or drink into the Cinema. I had a small bottle of water in my bag!! A glass of wine is $10 and the cheapest food item is $17. It is very distracting to have staff wander in and out serving food/drinks to patrons.
Much prefer to get a D D and watch it at home in the comfort of our own recliner!!

Approximate cost: $50.00

Although the menu items can be expensive, you can order the usual popcorn and drinks that you would get for the regular cinema.

Unlike the Hoyts premiere, with Gold Class you don't get any free food or drinks. It costs $30 per ticket, which I don't think is worth it given that the only difference is better seats and less people. Doncaster cinemas are fairly new though and you can ask them to validate your parking ticket to get hrs free parking instead of 3 hrs.

This Gold Class cinema is lovely, the front area seems like a retro restaurant lounge and facilities are very clean. Seemed to be a lot of "waiter" staff yet they were a little slow to take orders. Also food & beverages were quite late coming in to us. Maybe we just had an off night.
Menu is same old & just as overpriced as always. We still enjoy the sticky date puddings but needs more butterscotch sauce.

Approximate cost: $40

We used to drive all the way to Crown Gold Glass for a decent cinema experience. The Gold Class Cinemas and total experience at Doncaster is perfect and parking can be free if you remember to get your ticket validated ay the cinema counter.

Gold class here is good. The cinemas are always clean and the staff do their best. Only two bad things 1. They run out of flourless chocolate cake too often and 2. If you're the lady movie they start to clean up before the movie finishes major gggrrrrrrr!

Approximate cost: $40-$250
