We ate there yesterday lunch and all had food poisoning that afternoon. Such a shame as we have been before and it was amazing.

The Rock'n'Roll Cafe got me at the checkerboard black and white flooring.... in all honesty though, it is in a magic location and is good for a coffee just before you get on the boat ramp out to Coochiemudlo or Russell Island. The burgers are as classic as the decor - a bit of a rarity to find a burger with the lot, but you'll be able to get it here, no problems and for a reasonable price. The meat pattie tasted homemade, so it was all good, big and all the extras were as to be expected. Service wasn't express (even though it was a little quiet when we went there). It won't blow you away, but it isn't the worst place I've ever eaten at. We haven't done fish and chips from here, but from what I saw coming out of the kitchen, it looked like good servings and happy customers. It is in a bit of an isolated location, but doesn't take this for granted. Recommended.

I have been here a couple of times now, to grab takeaway fish and chips to sit and eat whilst checking out the beautiful scenery close by.
The food in my experience has always been quite delicious - cant really complain. They have a decent menu with fish and chip selections as well as a range of burgers (which I haven't tried). They also have heaps of drinks and icecreams.
You can dine in if you want, it has never really appealed it me, the space is not overly gorgeous, particularly when by comparison you can sit on a picnic blanket in the sun and stare out at the beautiful water.
The only issue I have with this place is their speed. The staff who take orders are nice and friendly, but for whatever reason, very easily distracted. They start taking the order, but end up in a discussion with someone else for a minute or two and then get back to you eventually. Very odd. The food also takes quite a bit of time to be done - like from when you ordered til when your number is called you are looking quite genuinely at 25+ minutes. Not the worst in the world I guess, but I do think that is a touch long for takeaway fish and chips.
Despite this however, I will keep going back because it is not badly priced and in a good position for some sun by the water.

Located on the corner, Victoria Point Kiosk is the closest takeaway shop to the gateway of the awe inspiring Moreton Bay. A short walk from the ferry jetty to Coochiemudlo Island, the shop is themed as a Rock'n'Roll cafe and boasts the "Biggest and Best Value Burgers in the Bay" and the "Best Value Big Breakfast".

The Rock'n'Roll theme is largely restricted to the dining room which has black and white squared lino and tin walls resplendent with prints of Elvis and Marilyn Monroe. There's even a juke box in the corner which at the time of my visit was engulfed by young people. Although the decor is a little faded, the premises are nonetheless sparkling clean and undoubtedly would have been very vibrant in its day.

The shop has burger and coffee menus and sells all the ice creams and cold drinks that you'd need for a day on the Bay. Opening directly onto the street, the Peter's Ice Creamery, which sells old fashioned ice-creams by the scoop, is a nice touch. They also sell hand fishing reels just in case you've forgotten to take yours along for a day of fishing.

The Victoria Point Kiosk provides a dine in or take-away service and has plenty of seating in their dining room and shaded alfresco area. A good sized car park ensures that you'll always find a place to park.

I have passed by this kiosk a few times but never been inside. I have often wondered if they really are the ''biggest and best value burgers in the Bay''. Thanks for the info. Does sound like it would be worth a visit next time I am in the area.
