PArt of the fun with vapiano is the good happy hour specials. But the pizzas are also delicious and it is a great atmosphere for after workdrinks with friends. Staff are always incredible friendly

went to this very trendy, hip looking place for lunch with 4 other friends - i tried the "GAMBERI E SPINACI" = Prawns, homemade basil pesto, cream + Parmesan tossed with fresh spinach. while i enjoyed it & the portion was very generous in a funky arty bowl, i was very unimpressed with the 2 or max 3 prawns they threw in. definitely felt like poor value for money. but i enjoyed the decor, atmosphere, pots of fresh basil, with bottles of olive oil & balsamic vinegar that went on every table ;)

Vapiano is an exciting new restaurant that has recently opened up at the historic Grace Hotel in Sydney. The food here is all super fresh and the meals are made right in front of you. It is pretty cool watching the staff cook your meal on the spot. Vapiano is not your run-of-the-mill take away/diner. As soon as your walk in, you are given a card whereby everything you purchase is tagged onto the card and then you pay upon exit. So far, I have only tried a couple of different pastas, and I have been very pleased with my meals so far. They also do fresh pizzas. The pricing is standard for the CBD, but the customer service is fantastic. I will be back here to eat soon.
