This company lies to it's customers and does not abide by Australian consumer law.

My experience has been a disaster from beginning to end.

2-5 business day delivery? what a joke!!!! My item arrived WEEKS after I ordered it.

you want your money back for a faulty item??? GOOD LUCK! Again, WEEKS after my expensive item was sent back and confirmed as faulty (by valuebasket.com), I STILL DON'T HAVE MY REFUND.

Furthermore, The 'money back guarantee' goes against Australian Consumer law as valuebasket.com will take 25% of the purchase price regardless of the fact that the item is, as confirmed by them FAULTY.

Apparently my packaging was damaged - meaning that I have to pay 25% of the purchase price. This is false and I have photos to prove this. EVEN IF THE PACKAGING WAS DAMAGED, UNDER AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW, I DO NOT EVEN HAVE TO PROVIDE THE PACKAGING FOR A FULL REFUND.

By trading in a particular country (online or otherwise), a company is bound to abide by the consumer laws of that country.

To shop with this company is a real risk. If your product arrives in a timely fashion and in good order, then I guess you would have no complaints, but if there is any problem, good luck trying to get your money back.

Approximate cost: $700.00

Thanks for the heads up, this certainly is a company to avoid. I hope they read your review. If they treat all their customers like this, they wont be in business for very long. Good luck with your refund!
