Finally found a hairdresser that's a keeper. Firstly and most importantly, they nailed the colour (very challenging as I'm soooo fussy) and cut. And still loving my hair. You know that hair honeymoon when you love your hair for a couple of days after a cut/colour and then wake up and realise you actually don't like your hair. Well that didn't happen. The staff were really pleasant, not aloof like some salons and seemed to really love their jobs. Yay!! Salon ambience was really hip and soothing with cool but welcoming decor. The music was great (mix of Triple J and current cool folky stuff), magazines were great (wide choice including fashion, home decor and even my fave - Frankie) and last but certainly not least, great coffee and a little tasty morsel. They had carrot cake when I was there and the day before had caramel slice. Yum! I love it when people exceed expectations. And no, I don't have an ulterior motive to give this business a thumbs up with no friends or relatives working there. Just asked someone passing where they got their hair done. I know, a little awkward but ya gotta do what ya gotta do to find a good hairdresser.

I was recommended to try Vahairdo after leaving my current Hairdresser after being unhappy and I'm so grateful to have found an excellent salon five minutes from home, I wish I'd gone earlier.
Sinead was amazing, so easy going, well so are all the staff and she listened and understood what colour I was after. They also gave me two yummy blueberry muffins and an amazing hot chocolate. The music was relaxing and the products they use are gorgeous, they smell heavenly.
Overall, it was such a happy experience I was still beaming when I arrived home and have been bugging my husband to go there. I would highly recommend them to anyone and have booked in my next trim and colour. Well done girls! Keep up the great work.

The hair wash was an incredible start - they have massaging chairs and put the most amazing smelling oil through my hair. The cut is great and the staff were friendly. My hair looks and feels amazing!
