I stumbled on this little place, almost by accident whilst waiting for my wife who was getting her nails done. I had Eggs Benedict for breakfast here and received a generous serving at a very fair price. The food was pretty good, the coffee wasn't and the service was OK.

I've since returned a couple of times and not been disappointed.

I like the fact the downstairs area is generally nice and quiet, though the stairs can be a bit steep so I wouldn't recommend the ladies try it in "nosebleed heels".

The saving grace of this little cafe is that they have tables out in the open in the mall. It's lovely to sit up here in the fresh air and enjoy the all day breakfast, always a treat, always well cooked, and well priced.
Downstairs in the actual cafe is a little dark and cut off from the world. Don't think I'd eat downstairs.

A quiet limit cafe in the Elizabeth St Mall. The decor is rather dated and food is nothing special, but it's a great little hideaway to escape the hussle and bustle of the Hobart CBD.
Reasonably priced food.
