I have found the staff to be courteous and helpful, the shop to be clean and fresh and the meat to be of good quality and value
Well amazing news - the shop has been sold again and the original owner is now back as the Manager for the new owners. Quality and freshness are back and the shop doesn't make me feel sick with the horrible smell any more.
I agree the Volcano Roast is superb, as are other of their unique products. I particularly like the package deals for a certain value - I find this the most economical way of buying our meat. Staff are exceptionally helpful and the owners are lovely people to chat with. Dave is back as Manager and this business is growing again. Great quality meat and good prices.

Sad that they dispensed of Dave's services. I heard they couldn't afford a Manager - even though he was there up to 12 hours some days. Quality has definitely dropped - I hope they realise people are buying less.
If you are looking for quality country fresh meat this is the place to go. Volcano roasts are a must try I hate sausages but from there I'll eat a dozen fantastic quality all round
